Starting with Proview:
- First you need basic GNU/Linux skills
- Download The Book
- Download The Book
- Use only the supported platforms (Debian / Ubuntu) or derived (Mint)
- Use only the official Proview releases from sourceforge
- Be sure about the processor architecture 32/64
- Create all the examples from the "Getting Started Guide" at least 2 times
- Play with the "Demo"
- Read the "Designers Guide"
- If you have questions, search first on the forum. There is a gold mine of information on the forum but not always easy to find (Search always on "Any Date")
- You may also take a look at bruno's video tutorial in documentation section.
Important Remark
To make work Proview (Berkley Database), Proview user environment (pwrp by default) has to be switched to english locals (time displaying)
