Read Me
From Proview Wiki
Starting with Proview:
- First you need <a class="external text" rel="nofollow" href="http://linuxcommand.org">basic GNU/Linux skills</a>
- Download <a class="external text" rel="nofollow" href="http://sourceforge.net/projects/linuxcommand/files/TLCL/09.12/TLCL-09.12.pdf/download">The Book</a>
- Use only the supported platforms (Debian / Ubuntu) or derived (Mint)
- Use only the official Proview releases from <a class="external text" rel="nofollow" href="http://sourceforge.net/projects/proview/files/">sourceforge</a>
- Be sure about the processor architecture 32/64
- Create all the examples from the "Getting Started Guide" at least 2 times
- Play with the "Demo"
- Read the "Designers Guide"
- If you have questions, search first on the <a class="external text" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.proview.se/v2/index.php/forum/search">forum</a>. There is a gold mine of information on the forum but not always easy to find
- You may also take a look at bruno's video tutorial in documentation section.
Important Remark
To make Proview work (Berkley Database), Proview user environment (pwrp by default) has to be switched to english locals (time displaying)
